Food security exists when all people, at all times, have physical, social and economic access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food to meet their dietary needs and food preferences for an active and healthy life. The goal of the food security initiative is to improve access to culturally appropriate, health-promoting foods for food insecure families across central Ohio by impacting food availability, food access, food quality, and food use.
